Terms of Service

Last updated: October 22, 2026

These terms apply to the Valiac apps (Cifra, Dilo, Faro, Nota, Sonda and Watch) and to this website. By downloading or using an app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the apps.

Free to use

The apps are free, for personal or work use. Valiac keeps all rights to the apps, their names, icons and this website. Don't sell, rent or redistribute the apps, or publish changed versions of them, without written permission.

No warranty

The apps and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the apps will work without errors, stay available, or get updates.

Use at your own risk

Some apps make changes on your Mac:

Keep backups of anything important. You are responsible for how you use the apps and for your data.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valiac and its authors are not liable for any damages of any kind, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive, including loss of data, profits or business, or damage to your computer, that come from using or not being able to use the apps or this website, even if we were told such damage was possible. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

You agree to hold Valiac harmless from any claim that comes from your use of the apps.

Your data

The apps keep your data on your Mac. We don't collect or receive it. Some apps use third-party tools or downloads (for example, Dilo uses whisper.cpp and ffmpeg and downloads the Whisper model). Their own terms apply to them.

Changes

We can change these terms at any time. The current version is always on this page. If you keep using an app after a change, you accept the new terms.
