Watch
See which servers listen on which ports, with CPU and RAM. Open, pause or stop them from the menu bar.
Install
- Download Watch-0.1.0.zip
- Open the zip and drag Watch.app to your Applications folder.
How it works
See your servers
Click the icon in the menu bar. Your dev servers are on top, with port, folder, CPU graph, RAM and uptime. The number on the icon tells how many are running.
Open one
Press ↵ to open localhost on that port in your browser.
Pause it
Press Space to pause a server and again to resume it. It stays in memory but stops using CPU.
Stop it
Press ⌘⌫. If it is still running after 3 seconds, press again to force it. Watch also stops npm, pnpm or nodemon, so your terminal is free and nothing starts it again.
Find one
Type a port, a process name or a folder.
Good to know
- You can only stop your own processes. System servers are folded below and ask before stopping.
- Watch checks every 2 seconds while the panel is open, and every 10 seconds when it is closed.
